I chose Macro for my photo 3 assignment, and Macro is when you take pictures of things up close. This allows you to take sharp, up close photos of small objects. What I learned from this assignment was that it's very difficult to get good lighting up close, have the right angle, and not letting the photo come out blurry. I think I could use a little more practice when takes pictures of up close objects. But for it being my first time taking pictures of things up close, I think I did well.

This assignment we were told to use and learn about photoshop. We used the crop tool, clone stamp tool, brush tool, and more command keys. I learned how to use more tools from photoshop to include in my future photos if I need to. This assignment was really hard for because of all the steps it took to copy the demo car. But over all I think I did really well on this assignment for not knowing how to do it.
With nature and landscape we can take pictures of gardens/flowers, trees, grass, and different types of plants. This assignment we can take up close photos, show depth of field, and any other composition traits. Nature/Landscape can be tricky to take photos because lighting can be different everywhere you go. I learned how to take good up close pictures, and how to take pictures of nature in sunlight. What went well was there was a lot of things I could take pictures of at my house, and there was good lighting everywhere. Nature/Landscape was very easy for me, it's one of my favorites to take pictures of. This assignment was very fun for me to shoot.
In this assignent we were told to take a picture of ourselves and make it into popart. Popart is a type of art, it orrinagted from the 1950s. Soup cans, and popular people were turned into popart. This assignment is teaching us how to use phototshop, and explore more to help us with future photo assignments. I learned more about photoshop and how to use different tools that I could possibly add to my future photo's that I take. I also learned all the commands, and what they all mean. This assignment was very helpful for me because I know how to use more photoshop tools. We used rulers, learned how to use hue-saturation, command v duplicates the photo, and lots of other steps we went through.
My goal for this assignment is to fins things in landscape and nature that are colorful, and that say a lot about nature/landscape. I will be shooting pictures around my house and maybe my grandpas house. I want my photos to not look as busy, and just simple. I want some pictures with the sun, and some garden or flower pictures that have some stone work or something. Also some tree action that represent nature, and the color green because that says nature.
This is our first photo assignment, I chose to take pictures of people (my little sister). We are supposed to take pictures of the persons personality, up close pictures of their face, and simple or dark backgrounds. What I learned from this assignment was how to set up backgrounds and where to place people when it comes to these types of photos. I think this first assignment was really easy for me, and simple. What was hard was trying to get my sister to focus and sit still so I could take these photos. Most of these that I've chose to post were edited, and they look better since they were edited. Some of them needed darker light, or brighter light.
The topic I choose for my first photo assignament is people. I will be shooting pictures of my sisters. In this assignment I hope to shoot pictures that look something like the ones i'm inspired by. I want some that are normal color, and some that are black and white. I hope my backgrounds look something like the pictures I chose to be inspirerd by. I hope my pictures are perfect and focused, and I hope the time I want to put into this they look good.
In these images I was trying to show how different shutter speeds can effect your photo. You have to set your shutter speeds, in order to make your photos blurry or not blurry. If you're looking for the blurry effect then your shutter speed should be at a low setting. In these images I was trying to show different Aperture settings can effect the light and depth of field in your photos. A fast shutter speed makes your photo more focused.
A slow shutter speed makes your photo more blurry. A large aperture causes your photo to be brighter. A small aperture causes your photo to look dark. This assignment was about how to use basic skills in digital photography. In comp 1 there is rule of thirds, lines, patterns, texture, and symmetry. In Comp 2 there is. When using the basics it will help us in the future when taking pictures. It will help us will our skills of taking pictures, and how well we do. I've personality already learned about Comp 1 and 2 because I took darkroom photography my sophomore year. Reflection:
I disliked this assignment. I already learned about in when I took darkroom photography. It was nice to recap and refresh and practice those so I can add them to the future photos to make them better. Composition 1 was easier to me than Composition 2 was. |
